LENS FEATURES:
A great goggle starts with great lenses! The Team Issue includes 2 very high-quality cylindrical lenses for crisp optics over a wide range of conditions:
- High strength, optical quality polycarbonate laminated lenses for protection and clarity. The lamination process reduces fogging (think a double pane window) while adding impact resistance.
- Both lenses feature a hydrophobic treatment for a second defense against fogging, along with an anti-scratch coating for improved durability.
- The darker sunny day lens features a full REVO developed lens coating in sapphire blue over a grey tinted lens, which for most delivers very neutral color perception and contrast.
- A second clear lens is included, coated to enhance snow contrast in low-light -cloudy days or nighttime events.
- Magnetic lens interchange plus- means swapping lenses is done in seconds, with 7 high strength magnets, the plus is added security slots -the tabs on the corners of the frame
- Both lenses have UV400 certification for UV protection
- Fully impact tested to the highest standards for ski sports equipment
The Team Issue frame is an integral part of the Team Issue's great performance, with added features that enhance your enjoyment every time you put them on:
- Magnetic Lens Interchange +. 7 larger sized magnets mate provide a firm grip, with the magnets on the lens for instant lens swaps. The + on the Team Issue are the 2 additional lens retaining slots on the bottom corners of the frame, providing added security and retention in a big fall.
- Tight tolerance, precision frame molding (see photo above) ensures a unified, one piece feel with the lens installed for confidence in all conditions.
- Our dual-density foam on the frame conforms instantly to your face for a snug fit, for all-day comfort without pressure points. Comfort is so good you might forget you are wearing goggles.
- Fleece skin contact! If you were not impressed yet, these will literally seal the deal. Not just cosmetic, the fleece outer layer over the foam helps wick moisture away from your skin to prevent fogging. Even if the fleece did not help at all to prevent fogging, you want it for the 5 Star Spa luxury feel it delivers.
- Large top and bottom frame vents surround the lens for air flow. Our open-cell foam offers thousands of holes for breathability and is very effective at keeping snow out of the google. Naturally it is extra work versus molding holes into the frame, but when it's not a blue-bird day, you will be much happier with the extra production steps to keep your vision fog-free!
- The big vents allow flow-through venting with a huge area to let water vapor/ heat escape from your face. In combination with our anti-fog coating, and dual-lens construction, the Team Issue frame and lens combination provides an effective weapon in keeping your goggles from fogging on even deep pow where you are coated with snow!
- The Team Issue comes with the logo strap, and plain white strap. A bayonet mount lets you switch them easily, and both feature dual-adjustment sliders to maintain even pressure for a snug fit and all-day comfort! The straps will typically adjust to accommodate your preference for under or over the helmet.
- The frames allow you to wear standard size glasses (Over the Glass) and feature temple cut-outs on the sides for this purpose.
- The Team Issue has a classic shape that fits readily with almost all helmets.
