SIMPLYFAST CHAIN WAX-TS1

SIMPLYFAST borrowed knowledge developed from our ski racing products to deliver a top performing wax that is harder and slicker than petroleum-based products for excellent bike performance. 

Waxing your chain with almost any wax-based product delivers a couple of free watts with almost any wax-based melt lubricant due to the internal penetration of the links and rollers.  This is also the benefit of our CUBE hot-melt application.    

The difference between TS1 and CUBE is that TS1 is much harder for even better dirt resistance and smoothness than CUBE or other petroleum based paraffins, and also offers increased service life of up to 500 miles. TS1 is an excellent base coating, and CUBE offers additional smoothness and prolongs the life of TS1. 

The marginal gain with any melted wax lubricant is due to reducing the friction as the chain articulates (bends) around your cogs and derailleurs.   As evidenced by the new Ceramic Speed testing equipment, the amount of articulation in your chain from gear sizes/bend angles presents much higher power (watt) use than even a very dirty chain.

NOTE: We recommend starting with an ultrasonically cleaned chain for best results before using SIMPLYFAST TS1.   If a chemical solvent is used to clean the chain, make sure the chain is rinsed thoroughly and dry before immersion in wax.   Always wear eye protection, gloves, and long sleeves to protect from splatters, and wax your chain in a well-ventilated area.
